Welcome to Decoma Day Camp The Deutsch Family has provided wonderful camping experiences for over 70 years!

At Decoma each child is special to us and we pride ourselves on getting to know every camper as an individual. The safety and well-being of your children are our most important concerns and we will work with you to provide the best possible summer experience. Decoma is a traditional day camp offering every activity under the sun, all while under the care of experienced and nurturing staff in a non-competitive atmosphere. All campers swim twice a day and receive expert American Red Cross instruction. Activities include: swimming, tennis, trampball, volleyball, yoga, ninja warrior course, martial arts, mini golf, mountain biking, music, soccer, baseball, archery, arts & crafts, basketball, bucket drumming, cheerleading, dance, circus, fencing, drama, gaga, fishing, gymnastics, yoga & more. Campers are encouraged to try new things, develop new skills and create ever lasting friendships that will last a lifetime. Included in tuition: door-to-door busing and/or extended before/after care, hot lunch & towel services.

Flexible Programming Design your child’s summer program to fit your needs. • 4 through 8 weeks • Additional postcamp week • Choose any weeks during the summer (they don’t need to be consecutive) • Choose 3 or 5 days per week • Specialty Camps (for campers ages 6-13 (Riding for grades 3-8 in fall) • Shortened Day option for preschool age children • Rookie program for 2.5-3 year olds (2 mornings, twice a week) • Door-to-door busing OR extended care (or a combination of both)

Our Staff Our counselors are either school teachers or college students working toward a degree in recreation or education. All Decoma staff members participate in an extensive two-week orientation program before the first day of Summer camp. We know that Decoma’s most important resource is our staff.

Bus Service and Extended Care

We’re flexible! Choose either/or for the AM and the PM. Bus Service: Simply put, from your front door, back to your front door. Cost for bus service is included in camp tuition. Extended Care: Parents who wish to use this option provide their own transportation allowing for drop-off and pick-up at any time during the specified hours. Extended Care hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There is no additional fee for extended care.

Quality Lunches Whether in the cookout area or in the dining hall, a nutritious and delicious hot lunch is provided every-day. We are attuned to individuals with various food allergies and adhere to a peanut/nut free policy for the safety of our campers.
