Located on a picturesque peninsula in Minocqua, Wisconsin, Camp Kawaga is one of America’s premier summer camps for boys ages 7-15. Kawaga offers a balanced, well-rounded program of more than 100 activities, including sports of all sorts.

Our campers come from all over the country for either an eight-week or four-week session. Our immersive Rookie Program (for first-timers, age 10 or younger) gives your son a fully integrated Kawaga experience for two weeks.

But even more so than our innovative programs and our beautiful grounds and facilities is something else. It’s what sets us apart. It’s the spirit and the culture. The friendships and life lessons. It’s about being Kawaga.

What does Be Kawaga mean? It’s about being your best and being proud of who you are, where you are, and what you do. It’s being part of a special family at a special place. It’s what Kawaga campers, staff, and alumni think about, talk about, and dream about.

So, how best to understand Be Kawaga? Watch our videos. Meet our directors. And, best of all, visit Kawaga and see for yourself. Then, you’ll begin to see what it means to Be Kawaga.
